SUMMER AT ARLBERG MOUNTAINS
Enjoying fresh powder on the mountains will always be our first love, but once the snow melts, a vibrant summer destination with breathtaking scenery and invigorating outdoor activities emerges. Surrounded by picturesque Lechtal Alps and Arlberg Mountains, streams and lakes, the charming village of Strengen provides a colourful palette of activities and an impressive list of appealing experiences, from hiking and mountain biking over golf to whitewater rafting, climbing and paragliding. A wonderful swimming lake with sunbathing lawn and playground is situated only two kilometres out from the Posthotel.
The complimentary hiker’s shuttle bus provides convenient and quick access to the village center of St. Anton. The bus stop is located in front of our Hotel and buses run every hour.
Hiking
With trails for varying abilities and access to pristine places and expansive views, the mountains surrounding Strengen welcome novice and seasoned hikers to be inspired by its 300 kilometers of trails. Lifts and gondolas open up high alpine areas for summer hiking for those out for shorter walks. Everywhere you go, there are lovely places to eat – some 30 on-mountain eateries are spaced along the trails.
